In 2013 we placed the working group "SMA Gabungan" under the umbrella of Stichting HAPIN; this was a major milestone. Our working group remains as independent as in the past, but by becoming a member of the HAPIN family we have ensured the continuation of our support for Papua in the future. In November 2013 Reinier de Lang in behalf of the working group "SMA Gabungan" paid a visit to the SMA Gabungan school in Jayapura; according to this visit we have decided to proceed by supporting individual SMA pupils during their study; the renovation of the building appears to be very hard to realize. In December 2013 the amount of money available for "SMA Gabungan" was 25.000 Euro. Click on one of the news items below for more information and photos. |
